Wow, came here randomly after being in town for 1 night for a show: the egg white breakfast burrito with spinach and beans and homemade salsa and wheat tortilla was exactly what I needed after that night out!! Perfectly made latte and super kind family running the place. Excellent location, recommend parking a block or two away. 10/10

Mikaela is wonderful. She cooks and serves everything on her own. I ordered a small americano with an extra shot and it smelled heavenly. I also ordered her homemade chicken tamale and it was piping hot and delicious. Don't hesitate to visit this hidden gem in the city!

The Bacon egg and cheese was Cooked to perfection I'm from North East and that's all we eat so it's definitely can attest to the goodness factor lol . Very clean on inside I'll definitely be back . Great customer service as well

Came in for a latte on a rainy day. I came in the afternoon so they did not have many bagel flavors left. They have a menu that looks good with breakfast burritos, tacos, eggs and sandwiches for lunch. The prices are about average for the area. Very nice relaxing spot to go have coffee and quick bite to eat. I plan to return to try other menu items.

Great place - portions are big, quality is fantastic every time, and service is excellent. You get your moneys worth and THEN some every time. To top it off the owners are wonderful!! Love this family owned spot, we visit every week!

THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! El servicio es muy amable. El precio es accesible. Es un lugar familiar

I was working across the street from this place for over a week and found myself dropping in a few times. There's only street parking available and I noticed a lot of people blocking driveways to come into this place. Very minimal decor and menu. First time I got the chicken pesto sandwich and it was pretty good. It was relatively heavy so I didn't even bother to make it a sandwich, I kinda ate it like a pizza lol. The bread had a nice crunch and all the flavors were where they needed to be. My biggest issue was how long it took for them to make it. My lunch was almost over by the time I got my food and I only had to cross the street to get here lol. I'd recommend calling it in if you're on a time limit, modern solutions amirite? I also got a ham and cheese croissant made one day that was nothing to rave about but it was good enough. I wanna say the pricing isn't too bad here, especially for the city. The workers are chill and professional. A nice family business that seems to be keeping afloat and I support it. The menu can use some additions but if you're ok with just breakfast options and a few sandwiches then you shouldn't have any issues here.

3.5 STARS Logos are important. Cuz brand recognition. Except for a Swedish company named "Locum". Look up their logo...SO much fail. *Facepalm* This little corner spot bordering Noe and Bernal has been a number of cafés through the years. Never made a point to shop by until I saw the black and gold Golden Gate Bridge Logo from afar last week. Ahhh haa! They must be related to Taqueria Gonzalez in The Portola so I decided to make a pit stop for dinner last night. Except when I arrived, I realized there was no "taqueria" in its name. Cafe Gonzalez is a cafe and it was dinner time so breakfast for dinner? Why not! They're open for takeout and indoor dining (4 tables). No outdoor seating. With the mandate lifted, no masks are worn. M E N U Bagels, breakfast burritos/bowls, salads, and sandwiches (Boar's Head). There's also some pastries and chips. For drinks, they have coffee, tea, juices, and canned drinks. F O O D * Breakfast Burrito w/ two eggs, cheese, potatoes, black beans, avocado, and salsa ($8.95) ***Add sausage patties (+$2) Since it's a spin-off Taqueria Gonzalez and I've had their burritos before, I thought the breakfast burrito here would be a safe bet. It was ok; it could use more filling, flavor, and texture. I couldn't find the sausage (one patty diced up) until I was halfway done with one of the halves. Since the tortilla isn't griddled, I think using tater tots or hash browns instead of diced potatoes would give a nice crispy texture and adding more cheese or a saucy element like a chipotle aioli would give it more oomph. S E R V I C E Super friendly staff. Family-owned and operated; kids were playing inside. They're still training folks so kindly be patient. A M B I A N C E Barebones with four indoor tables. P A R K I N G Parking can be tricky but they have a dedicated 10 minute parking zone in front. Overall, a decent morning pit stop before hopping onto 280 S. Wishing the owners the best of luck!
